Bank Holiday, comes six times a year

Bank holiday comes, six pack of beer. So sang Blur, 30 years ago this year no less. Not much progress in my Dos Amos campaign, although I'm going to tot up a shopping list for the Cubans this week. And I've rebased some more terrain. The rest of the bank holiday has been spent on rebasing some 1:1 scale terrain, namely in the garden.
The kids old playhouse, now home to spiders and woodlice.
It won't exactly be the top of anyone's Pinterest page, but it's a WIP.
The other highlight of the weekend was a walk up the Porter Brook to Forge Dam and watching this big lad stalking about.
And this was my hobby work. A nice diversion from 6mm and my lad wants it to hang from his bedroom ceiling! A Revell kit, that doesn't include a pilot! Interesting paint scheme, I suppose as an escort fighter, fighting at altitude, a sky blue scheme would be more fitting than green.

All in all, a very pleasant weekend and a productive one. The next few weeks shall see more progress on the campaign with a view to playing games during the half term, 3 weeks away.
